Well, Duh!

Okay, for you accomplished knitters out there, please don't laugh at me. I bought this skein of Plymouth Sockotta, and it looked like this:I can't tell you how thrilled I was to discover that it actually knits up like this:I was so surprised to find stripes appearing from the needles! Now I'm completely addicted to this kind of sock yarn. I must find more!

I was pretty wowed the first time I saw self striping yarn. Who would have thunk? What a great invention, eh?

Rachel, Now I'm gonna blow your mind if you don't know this-they have self patterning sock yarn too! It's really cool. I was just talking about this type of yarn with my sis who is a non-knitter!

Me want socks! :) I love how your grey striped socks turned out. How fun and what a neat surprise to see how they turn out! I am brewing up some projects, too, but I ordered the supplies on line so I haven't started them yet. Can't wait..he he.
