Thankful Thursday

This week's "Thankful Thursday" item was a no-brainer for me.

Children.

I am so thankful for those little, wonderful monsters that can destroy the house and then sweetly say, "Mommy, I wuv you soooooo much!"

Today my newest nephew was born, Jacob Wayne Leverton. Joe (Andy's bro.) and Kathy Leverton already have one little boy, Josiah, who is about three years old. I am so excited for them, and I can't wait to see that little baby.

I was especially thankful for a smooth delivery; well, as "smooth" as such a process can be. Kathy's had some slight difficulties with pre-eclampsia and high blood pressure, so she was induced last night. Inducing can lead to a high probability of a C-section, and we were really praying that wouldn't be necessary. Thankfully, the newest little Leverton was quite eager to see the world, and popped out a healthy 8-something pounds!

Aren't children wonderful?

(I have to go; my daughter is throwing handfuls of potted plant all over the floor . . . . )

It's hard to imagine what life was like before kids. What did we do with all that time, money and sanity? :) They are definitely a gift from God... I'm not thankful enough for my sweetie.

Wow, Rach, your fingers have been busy typing away on the blogs! :) I haven't been here in a while..so there's lots of great stuff to read! I absolutely agree with this Thankful Thursday. I realized that I forgot to post a Thankful Thursday post last week. If there is one thing I am inconsistent about, it's consistency! I can't ever do something the same more than once! I hate that sometimes. Anyway, I will try to catch up this week with a double portion of thankfulness. HOpefully, I won't forget.

The pics of Bannnna and Petesy are adorable. Mom will be so excited to get her hands on those little guys. I cannot believe she and Dad are coming up there in the cold....they must really love you all and / or be nuts. I'm sorry, Rach, I love you all more than you can imagine, but I just can't see coming up there right now. I loved when we came up there in Nov. I definitely want to come up in the fall again. :) Well, I am in a typing mood. I should blog. I think I will. ha! Love ya, Angie
