If you've been reading this blog for any length of time, you'll know that I am not an avid baker. Oh, I'm fair enough at baking, I just don't really enjoy it. I think it's due to my lack of a sweet tooth. (I much prefer turkey and stuffing).
However, a few days ago I decided to bake cupcakes with Peter. He had lots of fun mixing the batter, and even more putting on the sprinkles. I had a little trouble getting him to eat all the cupcake, though. If I'd let him have his way, he would have eaten the tops off of all 15 cupcakes!
I think the kids have a lot of their daddy in them, because when Breanna woke up from her nap, she tried to do the same thing!

I'm that way with muffins...well, I eat the whole thing, but I'll take the top off, set it aside and eat the bottom first. I save the best part for last. I don't know why the top of it is best...it just is. Now that I think of it, I think I do the same with cup cakes...usually.
What a couple of cutie's! Look's yummy to the tummy to me. Frosting is always the best part Mommy, don't ya know?
Sounds as if you had some knitting horror with your sweater incident. All sounds well enough now. Thank goodness.

They look absolutely delish. This is where we are different. I LOVE sweets and almost anything baked and chocolate! I love to bake, too...I have really had an "itch" to bake chocolate chip cookies, but I need a couple of free hours! I haven't had that lately. I hope to have that this weekend. Love the cute picture of Petesy Weetz and Baby Bannnna! They look sweetest enough for their Auntie Angie to eat. Ha! :) Love you guys.

I think it's the same for every kid!! :) Claire loves to lick all the frosting off and leave the cake!! :) The kids look so cute and the cupcakes look yummy!!
