I finished my scarf for
ISE4 a few days ago, but I just got around to blocking it last night. As I knitted the scarf with bamboo yarn instead of wool, I wasn't sure how well it would look after blocking.

To block it, I just ironed it on a medium heat setting, and I was pleasantly surprised how nicely it looked afterwards! I've never had anything cashmere, but I can't imagine it could possibly be any softer. Bamboo yarn is definitely one of my favorites!

Here's a better close-up of the leaf pattern. I wish I could state explicitly where I got the pattern from, but unfortunately, I can't. I just remember that it was from a little complimentary pamphlet included in a past fall issue of
Interweave Knits.

That turned out really pretty!
Wow, stunning Rachel! That blocked really nicely. I love the color too, but I am really partial to blues and greens. Very lovely.
