Usually I try to be very current with my blog posts, but I've gotten waaaay behind, due to this:Yes, GARAGE SALE at my house! Don't you just wish you could be here to get some of this loot? Almost everything is $.25! Why can I not find these kind of garage sales when I'm looking for stuff?
In my defense, this isn't all my stuff. I have three other ladies selling stuff, too.And what are the kids doing while we womanly entrepreneurs sell our junk? Why playing, of course!
This evening, when I gave the kids a bath, I noticed Peter's shoulders looked a little red. Horrible mother that I am, I forgot to put sunscreen on my little guy! I cannot tell you how awful I
felt. Thankfully, although he's red, he hasn't complained of any pain. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't burn, and I have packed sunscreen in my bag so that this WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN! (What a terrible thing for me to do, especially with Mother's Day coming this weekend. Oh dear. I'm such an awful mo

Rachel, I love the abbreviated terms you use for your skill levels on projects! I also had a dad in the military, but he was a marine and mustered out before I was born. I will say though, that somethings did rub off on me from him. We always made our beds, and I still do!
As for the picture, I searched and searched to find something mother related to knitting for Mother's Day. I came across that and saved it to my pictures. Of course you're welcome to it! It's not theft anyway if you save it to your pictures. I love old looking prints like that. Wouldn't that one be great framed and hung on the wall? The colors are so warm and soothing. I hope you had a great day yesterday, I really had a wonderful one myself!!
My kids got sunburned when they were small and survived into adulthood just fine. Doesn't it make you feel like you are the worst mom in the entire world!?!?! Baby lotion works like magic on sunburn and makes it heal very fast.
