The Blustery Day

On Thursday I took the kids to a park I've never been to, before. It's quite close to our house, and is fairly nice, although most of the equipment is a little too big for my kids. However, there's a lovely paved trail that circles the park, so I can get a nice jog/walk/gasp-for-air while the kids are playing, and I can see them the whole time.My friend Bella came and joined us, and she brought her two kids, Derek and Lia. Bella's from Venezuela, and has the coolest accent. She's such a hoot! My goodness, it was so windy! A couple of times I was afraid the wind might sweep the kids right off the playground! Breanna's so light, I was afraid we'd be doing a re-enactment from "Winne the Pooh and the Blustery Day"!
Hang on, Breanna!

It's sick how Bella always looks so pretty, even with the wind going at 40 miles an hour! (Notice there are no pictures of me during this time. I don't want to scare anyone, and this blog is rated G)

I am coming to the conclusion that you live in a very nice area... you have SO MANY options to chose from when you are considering things to do. The park sounds and looks lovely!
