For Father's Day this year we invited the L- - - clan to our house for lunch. J. and N. were not able to come, and neither were J. and K., but we still had a nice house full of people!
The weather was gorgeous, so we grilled hamburgers and bratwursts. The ladies brought extra goodies, too, so there was plenty of food!
After lunch, the kids played outside and got really dirty in the sandbox. Of course they loved that. Peter enjoys playing with his cousin Mariah, because they're about the same age.
Even Great Grandma came, and I think she enjoyed watching all the commotion. Breanna must have felt a little intimidated around all those tall men, because she spent a good deal of time moving around the house in Great Grandma's walker!
For Andy's Father's Day gift we bought him a pair of Crocs, an Ansel Adams photography book, and some other odds and ends. Unfortunately, Andy says the Crocs are uncomfortable, so I'm going to try to return them and exchange them for something else. I must confess that I was shocked when he told me that, because I think my own pair of Crocs are the most comfortable shoe ever made! Oh well, not everyone has the same foot, I guess.
