I was horrified to discover this morning that Honey Bunny's cage door was wide open, and no Honey Bunny inside. I'm not sure when she made her escape, but I feel absolutely sick about it. Our neighborhood has a lot of cats roaming around, and . . . .I haven't found any sign of her yet, so I'm hoping that's a good thing, and she's just hiding out in the backyard somewhere. We have a fence around the entire backyard, but she could have wiggled under one of the three gates. I've already made a fairly thorough search of the backyard, calling, "Hooooney Buuuunnnny", which is really stupid, as I don't expect her to sit up and answer. However, I'm feeling desperate so I don't care. How well could a white rabbit hide?
I haven't told the kids yet. I feel sick. Please pray for us in our time of sorrow. (Seriously, I am feeling pretty sad this morning).

Oh no! Poor Honey Bunny! I hope that you find her or that she returns home soon. Your family is in my prayers. Hopefully she is just hiding out in the backyard somewhere and didn't go crawling under gates to escape.
Oh, Rach, I know you must be devastated. I wonder what happened? You have a pretty great garden, so I can't imagine Honey Bunny would wonder off too far. She could feast for months on your garden! Well, don't blame yourself for this....it's hard enough trying to be mom and wife! Love, Angie
Will be praying... hope H.B. finds the way home soon.
