This Thursday I was so thankful to receive a wonderful surprise in the mail; it was this book, Angels, a Knitter's Dozen by Gerdine Strong! A sweet person, Teri, whom I have never met or heard from before, saw this book listed on my "things I'd like to own someday" list on my sidebar, and just sent it to me to be nice! Wow! Can you believe it?
You know, I feel rather guilty about having that list in my sidebar, now. I honestly only put it there because often I'll see a book I'd like to get someday, and then I know I'll forget the title, so I just plunk it in my "things I'd like to own someday" place. I use my blog as my knitting organizer. How kind people can be! Wow! I hope I can repay others in a similar fashion. I think kindness, just like thankfulness, is the nicest "bug" to spread.
Thank you, Teri, for your generosity and sweetness. You've made my week!

Wow, there are some really good hearted people in this old world!! I would be in tears I think. How sweet, and don't feel guilty about the list. People just want to bless you, there is nothing wrong with that is there?!
What a sweet little blessing!!!. I am so excited...My Scrappy webring on my blog, finally works!!! I used it today...and it worked. Yay! :) I am going to be crafting quite a bit tonight finishing up my scrapbook and beading. :)
Can't wait...Love, Angie
So, ... is this a book of patterns for all crocheted angels?? If you make these,... I seriously want to see if you'll make me one... how much would you charge? We had one when I was growing up that we put on our tree EVERY year,... but it "died" from over-use and it seems no one makes (or sells) them anymore. Very neat! Thank God for generous spirits.
