Peter just loves to build things. Blocks, trains, Lincoln Logs, you name it, he loves creating. This morning he showed me his latest creation, an airplane made from blocks (actually, this one is quite manageable. The one he made yesterday was almost 2 1/2 feet tall.)Mommy: "So, Peter, you like to build things, don't you. When you grow up, maybe you can be an engineer, because they like to build all sorts of things, too."
Peter: "I'm going to be big like Daddy and make airplanes."
Mommy: "That's right, you be like Daddy, not like a bum."
Breanna in sing-song voice: "Bum-bum-bum-bum".Oh dear.

My boys (12,15, almost 21) have always loved building sets...you name it we probably have it. They still pull out the legos now and then and even my college senior (electrical/computer engineering student) plays with them as well!
hahahaha, at least you didn't say something worse that she would repeat to everyone she saw.

Cute pictures, I guess we Mommy's all give are toddlers cereal and things like that in cups so they can carry it around with them to chomp on :) Mess or no mess, LOL!
