Happy Boo-day Ms. Boo!

I can hardly believe that my little baby diva is getting to be a precocious bigger diva. Last Saturday we celebrated her third birthday in true diva style, with a "Pink" themed party.

All the little girls wore their most "posh pink outfits", as requested in the pink and brown party invitations.
(This is Breanna's friend Sasha. It's so comforting to note that my daughter is not the only diva in town.)

A college friend of Handyman and mine, Mark, decided to disregard the invitation's orders. He and his wife were visiting us the weekend of Banna-Boo's party, so they got to witness the ensuing explosion of pinkness.
Mark's wife, Dasha, is from the Ukraine. She was a great help with all the little pink ladies.

We made necklaces from cut up straws and foam beads.

Then, we painted everyone's fingernails - pink, of course. Handyman and Mark refused the offer to paint their fingernails. I can't understand why . . .Finally, after draping every little girl in an enormous shirt from Handyman, we let them decorate their own cupcakes with (pink) icing. Peter enjoyed this part very much, although I can't say that much of his frosting made it to the top of the cupcake.

Miss Boo was very pleased with her cupcake.

Her presents were a big hit, too. Little Miss Diva got an ensemble worthy of a princess, as well as lots of other goodies like ponies and baby dolls.
Happy birthday, Miss Boo. We love you! Here's the video I took of her party, so if you've got a few minutes, sit down and enjoy your "pinker side"! (Oh, you might want to pause the music player on the left sidebar first).

Those big heart earrings are simply fabulous!!! I simply cannot WAIT til she gets what I bought her. It will go just perfectly with all the goodies she has! I wish I would have sent it sooner, but I am happy that I got it in the mail within the week. :) Please takes pics of Banna Boo when she gets my gift. I really think she's going to love it.

I thought it was so funny that Peter was creating "monsters" and stuff among all the pinkness and girly-ness. Boys are boys! Andy should have made a necklace...LOL!

Many kisses and hugs to Miss Boo on her Boo day. :)

It looks like a pretty pink time was had by all. You should have made Handyman and his friend some boas out of fun fur and had Miss Boo beg them to wear them.

Looks like fun! Happy Birthday to Banna Boo! You're so creative with all your cool birthday activities!
I just cannot imagine Mark Lawson at a 3 year old's princess party. Maybe having such a sweet looking wife has softened him up some. :)
