Winter's Here. Hooray.

Winter has finally arrived here in the Frigid North, and it's come with a vengeance. Right now there's almost a foot of snow outside, and the high tomorrow is supposed to be a whopping 15 degrees. Now, when the weather man says it's 15 degrees, that really means it's 15 degrees if you're standing in the only sunbeam in the state holding a solar reflecting panel under your chin.

It's cold.

I hate cold. So does Breanna.I'm so glad that my daughter takes after me. It makes me feel vindicated. Peter takes after his daddy and loves playing outside in the snow. I've always worried that insanity is hereditary, and apparently it is.
Just to illustrate this, here's a video of Breanna. I like to say that she speaks an obscure dialect of English called "Squawkinese". (You might wish to turn off the music on the left sidebar first before playing the video clip.)

Wow... a foot of snow huh? You're ahead of us. We literally have NO snow on the ground right now. We just keep getting little ice/sleet/freezing rain storms. Frankly, I'd rather have the snow. :) It most certainly has been cold at times here. I know how much you love the winters there... I'll be praying for you and that you have a mild winter. (There's always hope, right?)

Love ya.

Oh my goodness, my little miss Boo all cold and crying and what does Mommy do?? Film the poor innocent darling!!! My she's grown since I've seen her last. Wait till Gammy get a hold of her. I will have a nice tea party and paint her sweet little nails. Maybe we will go to the nail salon and then build a bear!! :)

Sorry I've been so lax about visiting your blog lately! Who know's why things get going the way they do, you know? I mean to check in and then I just don't seem to ;)

Well, I thought I'd stop by and say "Hi" and play catch up. I see a lot of gorgeous knitting has been taking place as is customary here at Yarn Over!

I'm certainly with you and poor little Banna Boo, I hate this freeeezing cold weather :( But the Christmas season certainly does help to warm things up! If by some chance I don't talk to you and yours before then, Happy Holidays. May you all be blessed by God's goodness.

I can just hear the evil snickering from a Mom on the edge, verge of insanity. LOL!!!

How can you tape Miss Boo! Poor girl. She needs warmth. You will love being down here this month. At least for now, the weather is gorgeous. Warm (for you northerners) and sunny.

I can't wait to see you and hope you will be able to hang out with me. I plan to spoil you! :)
