Happy Stuff

I'm not a big believer in the notion that "things" will make you happy, but every once in awhile something will catch my eye that makes me smile. I don't know if I can clearly define what it is about that particular item; perhaps it's the giddy combination of abstract colors and whimsical shapes.

These are my Happy Shoes. In all honesty, they're completely impractical for mundane tasks (like walking), but every time I wear them I feel cute, even if I could pass as a homeless woman with three dirty children tagging along behind her. I just love them. Best yet? A $3 steal from GW Fashions (a.k.a. Goodwill).
This is my Giggle Purse, so named for obvious reasons. It's so scrapbooky and funky and fun! It's full of wonderful pockets and is really well made, and I got it for a fantastic price from my friend Nikki (who just started her purse business, so YOU MUST STOP BY HER SITE IF YOU NEED A NEW PURSE. If you are a woman, you need a new purse. You just do. Write it off as therapy.)
Oooo, so fun! (Said with a cheeky grin and doofy smile).

Another friend of mine sells handmade (by her) dresses/shirts/nighties for little girls (which you can purchase online through her Etsy Shop here).
Isn't that fabric adorable? It makes me (almost) want to start popping out more girl babies so I have another excuse to purchase more of these outfits! I've settled instead for gifting them to all of Breanna's little friends at their birthday parties.

Better yet, she sells the skirts with matching doll skirts for a baby doll (squeee!).
Sigh. So cute. So fun. So funky!

(Now please excuse me while my real life interrupts. I think the baby pooped in his diaper.)

Those shoes are a 10! Takes a real woman to wear those things...lol! But those colors are definitely eye catching. I bet Banna can't wait to till she's big enough to wear them. Ha! Ha!
