Wow, is it ever cold here! Yesterday Andy and I wrapped garland and lights around the porch railing, and it was
sooooooo cold! Peter was as bundled up as I could get him, but his nose was quite red by the time we finished and went back inside. Such chilliness demanded a remedy of steaming hot cocoa, complete with marshmallows. (I have an AWESOME

This morning, the kids were playing in an empty box in front of the Christmas tree. You know, all that money spent on the latest toys and gadgets, and what do they play with? An empty cardboard box. Hmmm. I wonder if I could get away with giving them empty cardboard boxes for Christmas . . . . .
