Chocolate Chip Brownie Cookies

I got a few requests for this recipe (WARNING: these cookies are dangerous to your self-control), so here it is!

2/3 C. butter, softened
1 1/2 C. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Cream these ingredients in a large bowl. In a smaller bowl, mix together:
1 1/2 C. flour
1/3 C. baking cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 C. chocolate chips
Mix dry ingredients into wet, being careful NOT to overmix. Place dropped spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Be very careful not to overbake; these should have gooey centers of deliciousness.

Enjoy!

Yum yum! What would make this recipe absolutely wonderful would be some pecans! I am going to try this recipe this weekend, if I can! Well, time for BED. It's late. I don't know how to say STOP! but at least I'm all caught up! :) Love ya, Angie

Well, I can empathize with your Mom... fortunately, I am in trouble just while they are hot, and once they've cooled, I don't really care so much. -As Matt has to have homemade cookies around the house ALL the time, it's one thing that I at least have some control over. Will try these this weekend for him. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Rach,
Sorry I didn't call you back. I had to fight the TV crews and papparazi at the front door. Actually, no, I had to make dinner, drive the boys (Josh and Nathan) into action and run off to an Arbonne meeting (my next career)! I will call you tonight. Keep blogging. I love it!
Love ya,
Mom

OK so I have been reading your blog for a while now and up until this post I thought you were a fairly nice woman/mom/knitter etc.....now I have decided that you are pure evil!!!!! I made these up for my "hubby" and I think I ate at least a half dozen cookies worth of batter. And then ate at least that many cookies.........evil evil evil....pure evil!!!
