Tuesday Tip

This "Tuesday's Tip" comes courtesy of my sweet aunt, Erna. (So thanks, Erna!)

If you have accidentally burned something in one of your pots, and don't want to spend hours scrubbing the blackened bottom, simply put water and about a 1/4 cup of baking soda in it. Boil the water/baking soda mixture on the stove for 30 minutes or until the burned stuff has come loose. Then just clean the pot as you usually would!

(If you have a great tip you'd like to share, please leave it in my comments. I'd really appreciate some new ones, as I don't have all that many great tips myself, and am looking for more!)
