Hee hee, I bought yet more yarn. I keep telling myself that I have to stock up on my stash while Verna's Yarn Shop is getting rid of everything for 20% off. I bought 5 skeins of Plymouth Encore in this lovely brownish heather. I plan to knit a men's cabled vest with it. (Most likely self-designed; fun!)Then, I also got two skeins of Trekking XXL yarn for socks. I like knitting the lacy socks for March, but I'm a little tired of slow lace knitting. I want something spectacular like self-striping sock yarn.
Needless to say, this whole lot went straight up into the attic bin before Andy got home . . . . I love having extra cash from teaching!

I like plymouth encore yarn too, and that look's like a pretty color. I love new yarn too. Better even when it's on sale!!
Oh! Lucky you ;-) The trekking xxl is beautiful! I bet you will enjoy the socks knit by that yarn for sure.
