Tuesday Tip

This tip comes from two friends of mine, Stacy V. and Bella B. With this beautiful spring weather comes the annual rush of spring cleaning and organizing. Instead of trying to organize whole rooms at a time (an often overwhelming task) just make smaller goals for yourself. Set the timer, and organize something for 10 minutes every day. This might be organizing the silverware drawer, or re-stacking your pots and pans. Before you know it, your spring cleaning will be done!

I do this...I can't stand when our kitchen drawers get out of hand. In 15 mins, I knock those out. :)

Oh, if you haven't already, pls check my blog. I blogged away into the weee hours last night. Love, Angie

Thanks for posting this. I use this tip all the time except I use 30 min intervals to get housework done. I hate doing housework so I only do things for 30 min at a time by the end of the day the whole house is clean.I also use it when I am working on multiple knitting projects at once.

I organize when I'm stuck doing something else. Waiting for water to boil in the kitchen? Wipe down the cabinet fronts or organize a drawer or two. Waiting for the shower to get hot enough? Organize the bathroom counter top. On the phone? Use a cordless and straighten out the living room or a bedroom.
