Okay, I have a blogging question.
When you leave a comment, the comment gets sent to my email address. That's good, that's the way I want it.
However, I like to reply to people's comments. Sometimes the email address is listed on the comment sent to my email address, and other times, it just says "no-reply comment". At first I thought it was because some people didn't put in their email addresses in the comments section, but then I realized that wasn't possible anyway. What's up?
Anyone out there a computer whiz who can explain this to me?
Any suggestions for fixing this so I can respond to comments?
Anybody really care other than me, ha ha?

I have know idea...I would also like to know.
I think its becasue some people can comment annoumsly. Just a thougt.
P.S. I went to mops with you last year.
My understanding was that it's a quirk of blogger.
If the commenter is not logged in to google/blogger, then even if she enters in her email address, it won't get sent to you. A weird thing about google/blogger I guess, and who knows what they do with all those lost email addresses?
I think it only shows up emails of peeps that have their name listed as a blogger??
who knows...LOL I'm not really sure either.
I don't have a Google/Blogger id, nor an OpenID, so I use the Name/URL and can't leave an e-mail address...
I want to know too! Does mine leave you an address?
I'm almost positive that the determining factor is whether or not the person listed their email address to be shared/shown in their blogger profile. I too, like to respond by email to comments. So this is a test. I have my email address shared so see if you can reply to my comment. :)

I agree..I think you have to enable your email address when you set up your own blog(blogger profile)and you have to be logged in to your account. One time I used the computer after my husband and he was logged in with his account. When I made a comment it was his profile and email address that showed up.
