Candyland Ball

A few weeks ago, Handyman and Miss Boo went on a date together to the Candyland Ball. It was their first time, so neither of them knew quite what to expect.

Miss Boo was absolutely glowing with excitement. I dressed her up in her frilliest pink dress (I just love having a girl. Peter would never let me get away with this), let her wear my pearls, spritzed her with real perfume, and did my best to fix her hair in some semblance of style. Her hair didn't give me much to work with, but I tried.
I'm very sorry for all the blurry pictures. Needless to say, the subjects didn't hold still.

According to Handyman, there was dancing and a DJ who took song requests.
Handyman came home and declared that if he ever heard another Hannah Montana song again, he'd puke. His eyes did look a little wild.

Breanna had it in her head that she was going to get a balloon, and when they didn't have any balloons, had a true diva fit. The ice cream seemed to soften her up a bit though.
All in all, it seemed to be a fun night for them both. I'm not entirely sure if they'll go next year, though. I think it largely depends if Handyman will have recovered from the Hannah Montana auditory torture by then.

(Pause the music player on the left sidebar before playing the video).

She looks SO CUTE! I had to laugh about the H. Montana music though... TOO FUNNY. I have only heard one of her songs, and it was one too many. LOL. Love all her "bling." :)

awwwwwwwwww - this is so cute! I love that they have a ball for daddys and daughters and one for the mommys and sons. That is adorable! Mom told me that they went and I was eagerly waiting to see the pics...love it! I'm sure Banna loved every minute of it (well except the part about the balloon) :)

Thanks!! :) And yeah, it's a pain in the butt. I even have some patterns that I wrote up intending to be turned into a functional pattern for the public, and it never really turned out that way. ha ha. Oh well.

As to changing up the blog looks. I find that I need a change once in a while. I can't keep a look to long...its weird. I used to change my room around too. *sigh* But, it keeps everything interesting.

she looks adorable. And how fun to get to have a "date" with daddy! Would love for them to do something like that here.

How adorable. Really, she should have had a balloon, heh.

Some of Lissa (and her dad's) best memories are from "Daddy, daughter date night" :) K

Daddy cleans up pretty well... :) Banna Boo looked just like the princess she believes she is. It's so nice that they were able to do this. Next time (and I hope there is another time), Andy should bring his Ipod. The music will only get worse next year. :)

Aw, she's so cute all dressed up there. Ice cream solves lots of problems.
