My classroom at Classical Conversations is a dangerous place to be. So far, of the three moms who regularly sit in my room, all of us are pregnant.
One of them just had a beautiful baby girl, so as a gift I knitted a pair of my favorite go-to baby booties.
I made a few modifications this time, mainly adding a ruffle around the ankle instead of the rolled brim called for in the pattern.
I also used a fingering weight fuzzy mohair yarn and a size 2 needle so that the booties would be tiny enough to fit a 0-3 month baby.
The mohair was a pain to knit, as the fuzz kept snagging on my needles, but I have to admit the finished result is adorable!
