My Mum is an amazing science teacher, and this year for her birthday I found (in my opinion) the perfect sock pattern for her.
Bug Socks. Really.
The yarn I chose was a Knitpicks kettle dyed dark brown and an absolutely scrumptious Madelinetosh sock yarn that was a treat to work with.
The pattern is written toe-up, which is my least favorite way to knit socks, but the pattern was intricate enough that I didn't feel safe changing it, at least not the first time I knit it.
