Pink Petals Cardigan for Ella

I saw this pattern on Ravelry and fell in love with it.

It's a yoked cardigan worked from the top down.  The original pattern looks quite wonky, but thanks to another Raveler who did some really nice modifications, I was able to fix the parts that I didn't like from the original design.

I haven't had a chance to sew on the buttons yet, but that's not a big deal because Ella wears it as a layering piece anyway.

I have completely fallen in love with this yarn (Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend).  It is soft, squishy, scrunchy, and is all around therapeutic to work with.  (I might even attribute magical properties to it!)

I definitely wouldn't knit this cardigan with an acrylic yarn, as it had a bit of curling at the edges before blocking.  Once it was blocked however, the stitches relaxed and the hems were nice and flat.

This is one of my favorite things I've ever knit!  Lovely yarn, lovely color, lovely finished product!

Rachel this is beautiful! I like everything about this sweater - even the pink. It's a nice gentle shade of pink. You knock my socks off with the gorgeous work you do. I'm going to try to show this to my other friend who knits. : )
