Rejoicing in the Leverton Household

The Leverton household has been filled with much rejoicing this past week. The air is alive with happiness, thanksgiving, and general bon homme. Do you know why?

Nope. That's not why (although we do love Christmas, that's not the specific reason).

Uh uh. Not that either.

Still wrong. Give up?

Well, I'll just tell you. The reason for such incredible bliss and joy, is because Peter is FINALLY, OFFICIALLY, AND COMPLETELY -

POTTY TRAINED!

QUICK! NOTIFY THE PRESIDENT IMMEDIATELY! INFORM THE PRESS!

Seriously, I was sure I'd be packing him off to college with diapers in tow. I'm so thrilled to be wrong!

My son has such an acute imagination. His favorite pair of underpants are, of course, Thomas the Tank Engine, and he likes to carry on involved conversations with the characters on his undies. It's quite humorous to see him walk around the house, neck craned to see his bottom, while he talks to his undies.

Thankfully, he hasn't done this odd behavior in public yet.
