The weather this week has been simply gorgeous. Yesterday I even took the kids to play at the park; something I haven't been able to do for several months!
So, with all this spring weather in the air, my needles are craving light greens and fresh colors.

First up for your viewing enjoyment is the first of my lime green socks. (I still have to knit the second one). I started it last Saturday night, and just finished it this afternoon - hot off the needles! The yarn is deliciously soft (
Lion Brand Microfiber) and I really like the pattern, too. I found the pattern in a back issue of
Interweave Knits, in a little free booklet included with the regular issue.

Speaking of
Interweave Knits, my first subscription arrived today.
Yippeee! I'm just dying to make myself a cup of tea, and sit on the porch letting the spring breezes flip the pages of this new issue for me. Unfortunately, I have to teach in a few minutes, so my fantasy will just have to wait a day or two. My sweet Auntie Erna gave me this gift subscription for my birthday, and I'm going to get LOTS of use out of each issue. Aren't I the luckiest birthday girl?

What a cute little sock! I don't have a subscription to Interweave Knits, but I do pick it up when I see it. Lot of nice patterns in them, eh?
I love your lacey green sock. Lucky lady with her own subscription to IK:)
So, are you going to make the cute sweater on the cover??
