My Fair Lady

Andy and I recently watched "My Fair Lady", and I fell in love with this wonderful musical all over again. (I can't believe I actually got Andy to sit and watch!!!!!). This is one of my favorite songs, because it's so funny. Hmmm, Andy really liked it too. Perhaps I should be concerned . . . .

Love the music in this movie, but I thought Professor Higgins was a complete jerk. Ha! What I love about this movie was how the worst in both Eliza Doolittle and Professor Higgins eventually brought out the best in each other. I love comedy in this song, which shows the absolute ignorance and chauvinism of some men! :) How you ever got Andy to sit through this movie I will never know. Ha! Good for both of you. I am not complaining. Mike actually loves the movie Phantom of the Opera (the new one), which is filled with plenty of singing and mushy scenes. Ha! Aren't we lucky to have such renaissance men? Love, Angie
