My First Cowl

One of the yarns I purchased when I was at the Fiber Arts Faire was this skein of hand dyed hand spun wool.

I've never knit a cowl before, and for my first attempt I chose A Very Braidy Cowl.

The colors of the yarn when it's wrapped in the skein always look a little different than it does when it's knit up.  I'm not sure how I like how the colors came out in the end. 

After I knit it, I gave it a bit of a soak in Wool Ease to soften the fibers and open the cable.

Oh well, I hope the intended recipient likes it!
