From Mike and Amanda's house the kids and I headed east to Joshy's house in Maryland. It was to be our longest drive yet, and I was a bit nervous about nine hours of driving (not including stops) by myself.
The kids were wonderful. They watched movies on the DVD player, and listened to an audiobook (Furies of Calderon - fabulous series!)
We saw some very interesting sights along the way - a candle company with a tower shaped like a candle,
interesting produce (onions? oranges? grapefruit?)
and state sign after state sign,
Woo-hoo, go Momma!
(I wasn't able to get a picture of the Maryland state sign because a semi-truck was in the way.)
