Socks, Socks, and More Socks

I am sooooo lucky! I've never really thought of myself as a lucky person. Blessed, yes, extremely blessed, but not actually "lucky". However, I can now admit to myself that I do fit in both the "blessed" and "lucky" category. I won a contest! Woo hoo for me! A sock yarn contest! And not just any sock yarn - Blue Moon Fiber Arts yarn!

I've seen this luscious stuff before on other knitter's blogs, but it's just a little out of my reach. It's one of those things that I just can't quite justify buying for myself (although I'd probably buy it for someone else as a gift!) However, that didn't stop me from oogling it! (Some women oogle Brad Pitt. I oogle yarn.)

However, here's the only delimma - I have to choose a color. Help, please? Here's my favorites (okay, no snide comments about the number of favorites!)
Lover's Leap

Nodding Violets

Pebble Beach

Spinel

Beryl
Coral

Foo Foo

Foo-fa-rah

Jade

So what wonderful person is blessing me in this special way? Why, my Yarn Fairy Godmother of ISE4! I seem fated to get the best stuff from this special woman. Thanks so much, LaVerna! I'll let you know what color I'd like if I can ever make up my mind!

Yeah for being blessed and lucky, I like nodding violets and fo-fa-rah the best. But ultimately, you'll have to make the decision on your own my friend, LOL ;)

Yeah, Rach...you won a great and useful prize! :) You are lucky...you scored Andy, right?! Ha! Anyway, my favorites are Pebble Beach, Foo-Foo, or Foo-Fa-Rah. How many do you get? I forgot to read...I love all of them really. I can see how the decision is so difficult. :)

Love, Ang

oh boy...I'm the least handy dandy creative type out of us sisters. so you know my opinion won't matter. Angie's the crochet queen, you're the knitting queen and I'm the car wreck queen (i rule)

anyway, sarcasm aside, I'd go for the Foo-foo-fa-ding-aling-dong color. LOL where do they come up with these names? I love it. they should have one called Rosey Posey Drippy Nosey or Stinky Binky Linky Twinkie

ok my jokes are lame.

Well,... not that my opinion really matters in this... I love them all too... but I do especially the the Foo Foo color!!! Gorgeous!

'twere it me, I'd go for the Coral or the Jade, but that's because I'm in the mood for textured sock knitting these days and am loving the semi-solids. :)

So many color choices! I love them all! I'd pick something different from anything you can get a cheaper version of. In other words, a skein that's very obviously hand-dyed, like the Pebble Beach or the Foo-fa-rah.
